We are seeking a motivated Full Cycle Recruiter to support our ambitious hiring goals by sourcing, screening, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure a seamless hiring process. This role is critical to building our engineering focused hiring engine capable of scaling to 15+ engineers per quarter. You'll be ideal for this position if you have experience in high volume recruiting, thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, and are passionate about learning and growing within the recruiting space while contributing to cutting-edge AI innovation.
Proactively source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and emerging AI sourcing tools
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of engineering candidates (Full Stack/Backend, Machine Learning) to support our pod-based hiring structure
Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to different engineering disciplines and experience levels
Conduct high volume screening of candidates to assess technical qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with Brain Co.'s mission
Support technical screening coordination and scheduling across multiple engineering roles simultaneously
Maintain detailed candidate profiles and assessment notes to support hiring manager decision making
Track and optimize conversion rates across different candidate sources and screening approaches
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our applicant tracking system (ATS)
Support weekly recruiting metrics reviews and contribute data-driven insights to improve hiring performance
Track key performance indicators including time-to-fill, candidate quality metrics, and source effectiveness
1+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or related field, preferably agency experience and/or in a high-growth tech environment
Demonstrated experience with sourcing strategies and high volume candidate screening
Understanding of the full-cycle recruiting process and industry best practices
Experience recruiting for technical roles (engineering, product, or related functions) preferred
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and modern recruitment tools
Familiarity with sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.)
Experience with or openness to learning AI-powered recruiting tools and automation
Strong data analysis skills and comfort with recruiting metrics and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with technical candidates
Proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
Growth mindset with enthusiasm for learning new recruiting techniques and staying current with industry trends
Passion for AI/technology and excitement about contributing to innovative product development
Experience recruiting for engineering roles (backend, full-stack, machine learning)
Familiarity with technical screening processes and engineering interview frameworks
Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment
Experience with recruiting analytics and process optimization
