HR Operations Coordinator

Location: Mountain View, CA

Workplace Type: On-site (5 days/week)

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract

Experience Level: 1–2 years

About the Role

The Company is seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operational processes. This role supports employee lifecycle administration, HR systems management, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and HRIS updates

  • Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with company policies and applicable laws

  • Coordinate background checks, I-9 employment verification, and related documentation

  • Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to employee inquiries

  • Support HR data integrity and generate routine reports

  • Assist with payroll data validation and leave tracking

  • Partner with Recruiting, Finance, and IT to support employee transitions

  • Support HR compliance activities, audits, and process improvement initiatives

Additional duties may be assigned as business needs require.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, HR coordination, or related administrative role

  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP, or similar platforms)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a technology or high-growth company environment

  • Familiarity with California employment regulation
