Description

We are hiring a Payroll Coordinator in an administrative role that is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant employee documentation for assigned employee groups/locations, assisting with payroll compliance processes, and ensuring prompt administrative support for the payroll department. What You Will Do:
  • Manages and maintains electronic personnel files for payroll records and compliance, including converting hard copy documents to electronic copies and filing.
  • Oversees the collection, verification, and maintenance of I-9 forms and the I-9 audit book to ensure federal compliance for assigned employee groups/locations.
  • Generates and distributes ADP reports as requested by management or other departments.
  • Helps with payroll electronic files (E-File) compliance and related processes.
  • Supports the Accounting/Payroll team with special projects and ad hoc assignments.
  • Generates FedEx shipping labels related to payroll and accounting correspondence.
  • Helps with document organization and contributes to ongoing payroll and accounting record retention efforts.
  • Special projects and other duties assigned.

Who You Are:
  • You enjoy working with people and have exceptional interpersonal skills. You can use tact and courtesy in dealing with residents under sometimes trying conditions. You can show patience and understanding. You enjoy variety in your day and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient user of ADP software and custom reporting required. Prior experience with HCM software preferred, Ability to meet deadlines. Exceptional communication and customer services skills both written and verbal. Ability to be an analytical person and stays calm under competing priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and commitment to accuracy. Team-player with excellent people skills. Committed to confidentiality, accuracy and wage and hour compliance. Familiarity with payroll compliance, I-9 regulations, and document management practices.
  • Proficient knowledge of payroll processes and application of payroll principles on wage and hour laws and regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred. 1–2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or administrative support.
