As an AI policy and governance analyst at Gallup, you will study emerging AI regulations as they unfold, assess their business implications and partner with legal, product and technology teams to embed responsible practices into how we build. Your contributions will help ensure that Gallup’s AI capabilities are not only cutting-edge but durable, compliant and worthy of the trust our clients place in us.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor emerging AI legislation, regulatory proposals and governance trends and assess their impact on Gallup’s products, data practices and client agreements
- Strengthen and maintain internal AI governance workflows and documentation
- Partner with Legal to review and refine AI-related contract language and data usage provisions
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to embed governance considerations early in development
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical business guidance
- Proactively identify regulatory and contractual risks and recommend thoughtful mitigation strategies
- Help build scalable processes that enable innovation while protecting Gallup and our clients

What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence through coursework, research, internships or applied projects required
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information and identify practical business implications required
- Experience analyzing technology policy, AI governance, product risk or similar domains required
- A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s San Francisco office at least three days per week required
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship

Gallup offers a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and other insurance options; a fully vested 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching; an employee stock ownership program; mass transit reimbursement; family-building benefits; an employee assistance program; and various reimbursements and activities that enhance our associates’ wellbeing. We also offer an estimated annual salary range of $130,000-$155,000 for this role. Salaries are based on a variety of factors, including an individual’s education, experience and skills.
