This is a flexible, client-facing role focused on educating employees about voluntary benefit options and supporting them through enrollment periods. You will engage directly with individuals through in-person sessions, phone support, and digital enrollment platforms, helping them understand and select the benefits that best fit their needs. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in dynamic, people-oriented environments and is comfortable balancing accuracy with high-volume service delivery during peak enrollment seasons. You will play a key part in ensuring employees make informed decisions while maintaining compliance and confidentiality standards. - Conduct employee benefit education and enrollment sessions via in-person meetings, phone-based service centers, and web-based platforms
- Support employees during open enrollment periods by explaining voluntary benefit options clearly and accurately
- Complete and submit benefit applications with a strong focus on data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality requirements
- Participate in training programs covering systems, products, and enrollment processes to maintain up-to-date knowledge
- Deliver high-quality customer service while managing high-volume enrollment activity during peak periods
- Maintain strict adherence to data privacy policies and professional conduct standards at all times
- Build positive relationships with client employees and ensure a smooth, supportive enrollment experience
Requirements
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage structured enrollment processes in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- High school diploma required; active Life and Health insurance license(s) required in applicable states
- Experience in insurance, voluntary benefits, or employee benefits enrollment preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based enrollment platforms
- Ability to accurately perform data entry and maintain high standards of data integrity
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations and provide practical recommendations
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to client interactions
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends during enrollment periods
