This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Benefits Representative based in the United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a service-oriented professional who enjoys helping people understand important benefits and coverage options. You will work directly with clients through virtual meetings and phone appointments, providing guidance throughout their benefits experience. The role combines customer service, relationship building, communication, and professional development in a collaborative remote environment. No prior insurance experience is required, making this an accessible opportunity for candidates transitioning from customer service, healthcare, retail, hospitality, sales, or administrative roles. You will receive structured training, ongoing coaching, and mentorship designed to help you build confidence and advance your career. The position offers flexible scheduling, performance-based earning opportunities, and pathways toward leadership. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and physically located within the United States.

Accountabilities
  • Meet with clients virtually through Zoom and phone appointments to understand their needs and provide guidance on available benefits.
  • Answer questions about benefit programs, coverage options, applications, enrollment, and benefit updates.
  • Explain available solutions clearly and professionally so clients can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
  • Support clients throughout the application and enrollment process while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide consistent follow-up and ongoing customer support to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust, professionalism, responsiveness, and excellent service.
  • Communicate proactively with clients throughout the benefits experience and address questions or concerns efficiently.
  • Participate in ongoing virtual training, coaching, mentorship, and leadership development programs.
  • Develop knowledge of industry products, internal systems, customer-service practices, and relevant best practices.
  • Work independently while remaining accountable for performance, communication, scheduling, and client commitments.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative remote culture focused on continuous learning, professional growth, and customer impact.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be physically located within the United States.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong customer-service mindset and genuine interest in helping others.
  • Positive, professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Adaptability, willingness to learn, and openness to ongoing coaching and development.
  • Ability to participate effectively in virtual meetings and maintain professional communication with clients.
  • Access to a computer or laptop, reliable high-speed internet, webcam, and microphone.
  • Quiet, professional workspace suitable for virtual client appointments.
  • Previous insurance experience is not required; comprehensive training and support are provided.
  • Experience in customer service, client relations, healthcare, retail, hospitality, sales, administrative support, or call center operations is a plus.
