This role plays a key part in supporting green building certification initiatives across a wide range of sustainability frameworks, including LEED, WELL, Fitwel, BREEAM, and other industry standards.
You will work closely with project managers to coordinate certification activities, ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and smooth execution of deliverables.
The position combines administrative coordination with analytical support, contributing directly to the success of complex ESG and sustainability projects.
You will engage with clients, internal teams, and third-party certification bodies to keep projects on track and compliant with requirements.
Beyond day-to-day coordination, you will also contribute to research, content development, and continuous improvement of certification processes.
This is a highly collaborative and mission-driven environment focused on advancing sustainable building practices at scale.
The role is fully remote within the U.S., offering structured support and exposure to impactful ESG work.

Accountabilities:
- Support project managers in executing green building certification processes across frameworks such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel, BREEAM, BOMA, and IREM CSP.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document discussions, and track action items to ensure project continuity and accountability.
- Collect and organize client data, prepare credit documentation, and assist in developing certification submissions and technical deliverables.
- Monitor deadlines, manage project communications, and maintain organized documentation across platforms such as SharePoint and Monday.com.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and certification bodies to facilitate information exchange and ensure timely progress.
- Support research efforts on certification updates, industry trends, case studies, and internal content development.
- Assist with quality control reviews, administrative tasks, and continuous improvement of certification tools and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in sustainability, environmental science, architecture, engineering, urban planning, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with green building certification systems such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel, or equivalent.
- At least one relevant certification credential (e.g., LEED Green Associate, Fitwel Ambassador, WELL AP preferred).
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles and green building certification frameworks.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as architectural drawings, floor plans, and mechanical plans.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Monday.com, and other project management platforms preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
