This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the commercial learning and development strategy for a US Oncology business. The position plays a critical role in enabling field force effectiveness, launch readiness, and long-term capability building across a highly complex, matrixed healthcare environment. You will design and deliver scalable, modern learning solutions that strengthen commercial performance while ensuring alignment with business, compliance, and regulatory requirements. This leader will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and Operations to translate strategy into impactful learning experiences. The role also involves leading a high-performing team, driving talent development, and fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement. Operating in a fast-evolving environment, you will leverage modern instructional design and AI-enabled learning approaches to enhance engagement, measurement, and business impact.

Accountabilities:
- Define and lead the US Oncology commercial learning strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, launch readiness, and field effectiveness.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of learning professionals, fostering strong performance, inclusion, and capability development.
- Design and implement scalable, compliant, and impactful learning solutions across multiple modalities, including digital, virtual, and instructor-led formats.
- Partner with commercial leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify capability gaps and drive organizational readiness.
- Oversee learning operations, prioritization processes, and project execution to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of training initiatives.
- Apply modern instructional design principles and AI-enabled learning tools to enhance personalization, engagement, and training effectiveness.
- Establish performance metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure learning impact and continuously improve program outcomes.
- Manage vendor relationships and budgets to ensure high-quality content delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years in learning, development, commercial training, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading learning and development strategy within a complex, matrixed organization, ideally in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments.
- Strong leadership experience managing teams, with a focus on coaching, talent development, and performance management.
- Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and multi-modal learning delivery.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Compliance, and Commercial Operations teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Ability to leverage data, feedback, and performance metrics to improve learning effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
