This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and scaling global People Operations across benefits, payroll, and compensation in a fast-growing, international organization. The position sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring that core people systems are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business growth. You will lead critical operational functions that directly influence employee experience across multiple geographies. Working closely with senior leadership, Finance, Legal, and People teams, you will help define and operationalize compensation philosophy, benefits strategy, and payroll infrastructure. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead and evolve global People Operations functions, ensuring scalable and high-performing programs that support a distributed workforce. You will oversee benefits, payroll, and compensation strategy while building strong processes that enable consistency, compliance, and employee satisfaction across regions.
- Lead and develop teams responsible for global benefits, payroll operations, and compensation program execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and scalability needs.
- Design and continuously improve competitive global benefits programs that attract, retain, and support employees across multiple markets.
- Own payroll strategy and vendor management, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient global payroll operations.
- Drive annual compensation cycles including benchmarking, merit planning, incentives, equity programs, and job architecture frameworks.
- Partner with executive leadership to shape compensation philosophy, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with business strategy.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior stakeholders on People Operations decisions, leveraging data, reporting, and workforce insights.
- Ensure global compliance across compensation and benefits programs in partnership with Legal, Finance, and external vendors.
- Optimize People Operations systems, workflows, and policies to support organizational growth and improve employee experience.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in People Operations leadership with a strong balance of strategic thinking and operational execution. You are comfortable managing complexity across global environments and have a proven track record of building scalable HR infrastructure in fast-paced organizations.
- 10+ years of experience in People Operations, HR operations, or related fields, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams.
- Strong background in global benefits, payroll systems, and compensation strategy design and execution.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, or similar enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities in parallel.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive influencing capabilities.
- Solid understanding of global compliance, vendor management, and workforce regulations.
- Experience building scalable frameworks such as job leveling, career architecture, and compensation structures.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, HR, or related fields.
