Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

We are seeking a strategic, high-performing Executive Recruiter to lead full-cycle executive hiring across critical functions including engineering, operations, manufacturing, autonomy, certification, finance, and corporate leadership. This individual will partner closely with senior executives and hiring managers to identify, engage, and close world-class leadership talent in a highly competitive market.

The ideal candidate brings a proactive, consultative recruiting approach, strong executive presence, and a track record of successfully hiring senior leaders within high-growth technology, aerospace, automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end executive searches for Director, VP, and C-level roles across the organization
  • Partner with executive leadership and hiring teams to define hiring strategy, organizational needs, and ideal candidate profiles
  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of executive talent through proactive sourcing, networking, market mapping, and industry research
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through offer negotiation and close
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on talent market trends, compensation insights, and competitive intelligence
  • Develop creative strategies to attract passive talent from top aerospace, automotive, technology, and manufacturing companies
  • Manage and coordinate external search firms when appropriate
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with compensation, HR, immigration, and recruiting operations teams throughout the hiring process
  • Track and report recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and hiring progress to leadership
  • Help strengthen Archer’s employer brand within the executive talent market

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with significant experience focused on executive or senior leadership hiring
  • Proven success recruiting for highly technical and business-critical roles
  • Experience supporting fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Strong sourcing and networking capabilities with the ability to engage passive executive talent
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate with discretion and professionalism when handling confidential searches
  • Data-driven mindset with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience recruiting within aerospace, automotive, robotics, advanced manufacturing, or deep tech industries is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for aviation, autonomy, or hardware engineering organizations
  • Background supporting global hiring initiatives
  • Familiarity with executive compensation structures and offer strategy
  • Experience using Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools

At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $204,000 - $224,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
