This role is responsible for driving large-scale transformation across the People Experience and HR ecosystem, with a strong focus on modernizing operations, improving efficiency, and elevating the employee experience. You will lead enterprise-wide initiatives spanning the full HR lifecycle, from Talent Acquisition and HR Operations to Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and Workforce Planning. The position blends strategic design with hands-on execution, requiring the ability to build future-state models and operational frameworks from the ground up. You will act as a key change agent, guiding organizations through complex transformation and ensuring adoption and sustainability. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and cross-functional, involving close partnership with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple disciplines. This role also emphasizes continuous improvement through workflow optimization, process redesign, and technology-enabled solutions. Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead enterprise HR transformation efforts aimed at improving operational efficiency, scalability, and employee experience. You will identify gaps in existing HR processes and design future-state operating models that align with business needs and growth objectives. You will also drive end-to-end execution of transformation initiatives, from strategy and design through implementation, stabilization, and handoff to operational owners.

  • Lead HR transformation programs across multiple HR disciplines and service areas
  • Design and implement future-state HR processes, frameworks, and operating models
  • Identify inefficiencies and optimize workflows through process redesign and automation
  • Manage change initiatives including stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption strategies
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, Finance, and business leaders to align transformation priorities
  • Develop governance structures, KPIs, dashboards, and success metrics to track impact
  • Create executive-level documentation including roadmaps, presentations, and SOPs
  • Ensure successful transition and sustainment of new processes to business owners

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings extensive HR experience with a strong track record in transformation, operational improvement, and cross-functional project leadership. You should be comfortable operating in complex, fast-changing environments where you are expected to both design strategy and execute solutions. Strong communication and influencing skills are essential, along with the ability to lead stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR functions
  • Proven experience leading HR transformation, operational redesign, or large-scale change initiatives
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, workforce processes, and organizational design
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Ability to build processes, frameworks, and operational structures from scratch
  • Experience with HR systems (HRIS), workflow optimization, and process automation
  • Strong skills in communication, facilitation, and executive-level presentations
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Experience in government contracting environments is a plus and may require eligibility for clearance
