This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Jr HRIS Analyst based in the United States.

This is an opportunity to support and enhance HR technology systems in a fully remote environment, with a strong focus on Workday.
You will serve as a technical resource for HR teams, helping maintain system functionality, data quality, workflows, and reporting.
The role combines HR knowledge with analytical and technical problem-solving to improve processes and the employee experience.
You will investigate data issues, support system changes and integrations, and contribute to HR technology projects and implementations.
You will also help develop documentation, train users, and identify opportunities to make HR processes more efficient and consistent.
The position offers exposure to multiple HRIS functions, including Core HR, Talent Management, and Onboarding.
It is well suited to a detail-oriented HRIS professional who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously developing their technical expertise.

Accountabilities
  • Support the maintenance, improvement, and development of HR information systems, applying both technical and functional HR knowledge to business requirements.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for Workday and other HR systems, supporting configuration changes, business rules, workflows, and system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot HR system and data issues by identifying root causes, including system limitations, configuration challenges, user errors, or process gaps.
  • Perform regular data audits, run queries, analyze data flows, and establish validation rules to maintain accurate and reliable HR information.
  • Promote data standardization and recommend best practices that improve system administration, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain Workday processes, forms, workflows, security configurations, and general system setup.
  • Support the development and functionality of Core HR, Talent Management, and Onboarding modules.
  • Assist with or lead HR system implementations, integrations, and other technology-related initiatives.
  • Develop standard reports and support ongoing reporting requirements for HR stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain user procedures, guidelines, and documentation in written, verbal, and video formats.
  • Train HR users on new processes, functionality, and system procedures, as well as support onboarding for new system users.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership, internal stakeholders, third parties, and project teams to deliver HR technology initiatives.
  • Apply project management skills when coordinating HR initiatives and help ensure projects remain on track.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovative solutions, and stronger customer service.
  • Provide responsive, consistent support to HR stakeholders and resolve system-related issues with a customer-first approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a functional HRIS analyst, with a strong analytical and problem-solving approach.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with the Workday platform is required.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and the ability to apply functional HR knowledge to technology and process challenges.
  • Experience troubleshooting HR systems, analyzing data, maintaining data integrity, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Experience with Workday configuration, workflows, business processes, reporting, or related HRIS functionality.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Project management and HR systems implementation experience are preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain employee situations, technical issues, and solutions clearly.
  • Strong documentation skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a virtual team environment.
  • Patience, dependability, sound judgment, and a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, developing new technical and functional skills, and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Ability to work legally in the United States.

  • Annual compensation of $60,000–$68,000, based on years of experience, with a maximum base salary of $68,000.
  • Fully remote, nationwide position.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
