Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience across digital marketing, events, project management, and marketing operations. Working closely with our marketing team, you will contribute to live programs, help drive efficiency, pipeline, and insights. You’ll develop new skills, perspectives, and technology expertise to help launch a career in marketing.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, and paid channels.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter), including copy, graphics, and short-form video. Convert existing content into new content types and formats. Perform tests and try new concepts. Analyze performance, report on findings, and share suggestions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, audience insights, and growth opportunities.
  • Research online communities for key personas and decision makers to learn pain points, competitive frustrations, how other vendors engage, and opportunities for OSV.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Assist Marketing Operations team with data and systems projects.
  • Collaborate with creative to ensure brand consistency.
  • Assist with project intake and development of Monday.com tasks, boards, and dashboards.
  • Assist with organizing and promoting events, webinars, or product launches as needed.
  • Collaborate with broader marketing functions by contributing to cross-team projects and supporting initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute creative ideas in team brainstorms and strategy sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and a basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret basic data and draw actionable insights.
  • Self-starter who is organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior internship, coursework projects, or relevant extracurricular experience in marketing is preferred but not required.
  • Must be available to work part-time (20-25 hours/week) for the duration of the summer program.
