Gator Bio, the leading developer and manufacturer of Next Generation Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI) biosensor technology and services utilized by life science researchers within the biopharma, drug discovery, pharmaceuticals and biotherapeutics. We are looking for a Part Time People Operations Coordinator to recruit new positions, manage our HR information system, and assist with the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department. This position will report to the Human Resources Generalist.
\nSchedule and coordinate interviews with candidates. Conduct the initial HR phone screen.
Build candidate profiles and interview pipelines with hiring managers.
Collaborate with external recruiters. Actively and passively recruit potential candidates.
Maintaining and updating HRIS and ATS.
Manage employees’ personnel records, documentation, and information.
Process documentation for new hires, terminations, promotions, benefits, policies, employee signatures, etc.
Conduct audits for compliance, payroll, benefits, and attrition.
Conduct HR onboarding training for new hires. Prepare documentation for offboarding.
Facilitate bi-annual performance review cycles.
Administer regular employee engagement surveys. Collect pulse data through new-hire surveys and exit interviews.
Improve company retention.
Assign mandatory training for staff. Coordinate annual safety trainings and new-hire trainings.
Assist with leave of absence documentation for FMLA, PDL, CFRA, etc.
Revise and update company policies and the HR handbook.
Coordinate with external legal counsel regarding employment law and immigration assignments.
Any additional duties as assigned.
In order to be successful in this role, you will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or similar field.
1 – 2 years’ experience in and HR and/or recruiter role.
Experience with BambooHR and Lever is a plus.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, flexibility, and action oriented.
High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
Good judgement skills with the ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook calendar management.
