Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Global Payroll to lead and scale our global payroll operations across multiple countries and entities. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing, managing Employer of Record (EOR) vendors, and maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal candidate has deep experience in public company environments, understands stock compensation, and is well-versed in SOX compliance, audits, and global tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries and entities
  • Manage global payroll systems and integrations with local payroll
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution in compliance with local laws and company
  • Manage relationships with EOR vendors and local payroll
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure vendor
  • Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory reporting
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to support SOX compliance and audit
  • Partner with Legal and HR to stay ahead of regulatory
  • Collaborate closely with Finance on payroll accounting, reconciliations, and
  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and
  • Lead payroll-related aspects of financial audits and SOX
  • Administer and report on equity compensation including RSUs, ESPP, and other stock
  • Ensure accurate taxation and reporting of stock transactions
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes and systems to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Lead payroll system upgrades, implementations, and integrations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate AI-enabled solutions for improved accuracy and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including global payroll
  • Experience in a public company environment with strong understanding of SOX, audit, and compliance.
  • Proven experience managing EOR vendors and multi-country payroll
  • Strong knowledge of equity compensation and related tax
  • Expertise in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, etc.) and
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage complex
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • CPP or similar payroll certification
