Role Overview
The People team at ID.me relies on the UKG Pro as its system of record for employee data and on UKG Ready Timekeeping for time and attendance. The Staff HRIS Analyst serves as a principal technical authority and subject matter expert for UKG Pro, UKG Ready, and the broader HR tech stack. As we evaluate future platform needs and potential HRIS integrations, this role requires a technically advanced, highly analytical, and strategic systems thinker who can balance day-to-day configuration and optimization with overall system architecture, complex workflow design, and seamless data integrations, ensuring platforms remain accurate, scalable, and compliant as the company grows.
The Staff HRIS Analyst acts as a trusted technical adviser, cross-functional collaborator, and change agent capable of leading smoothly through platform evaluations and system transitions. Demonstrating an advanced analytical mindset and deep structural systems thinking, this role evaluates upstream and downstream impacts on payroll, benefits, compliance, financial systems, and connected HR platforms before implementing structural changes. Embracing an AI-forward approach to HR technology and automation, the analyst identifies innovative solutions to streamline workflows, partners with HRIS System support and third-party vendors for issue resolution, and provides advanced system expertise across current and future HR platforms.
This role works across People, IT, Payroll, Finance, and Compliance teams. The role reports to the Head of Employee Experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as key subject matter expert and super admin for UKG Pro and UKG Ready Timekeeping, managing system architecture, complex workflow design, and module optimization, including onboarding, reporting, and other modules to support daily operations and strategic business goals.
- In addition to serving as the subject matter expert for UKG, this role will also serve as the technical owner for CultureAmp, Greenhouse, Absorb, Enboarder, HR Acuity, and other HR systems.

- Maintain timekeeping rules, pay codes, accruals, schedules, and time off policies, and keep them aligned with wage and hour requirements and company policy.
- Manage user permissions, security roles, access, and system settings, and provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users, with backup support for other HR systems as needed.
- Plan, test, and deploy changes, upgrades, new modules, and custom integrations from requirements through user acceptance testing and go live support, and recommend and implement improvements - systematically assessing upstream and downstream impacts on Payroll, Finance, IT, and Operations before full scale deployment.
- Act as a change agent when processes or systems change, communicating impacts, preparing documentation and training, and helping partners adopt the new way of working.
- Advise HR on system capabilities and limitations, offer workable alternatives, and push back on requests that create data, compliance, or support risk.
- Manage third party support cases, including follow ups and escalations, and stay engaged with UKG and other vendors until the expected outcome is reached.
- Lead data architecture and governance initiatives to define, standardize, cleanse, and map HR data, including job codes, organizational structure, and feeds to other connected systems with high execution rigor
- Build custom queries, filters, reports, and dashboards that track workforce trends such as headcount, turnover, and retention, and present analysis and recommendations to HR and business partners.
- Work with GRC and Compliance to resolve findings, support SOX, EEO, and audit reporting, and keep the system compliant with data security and privacy requirements.
- Stay current on emerging HR technology, AI capabilities, vendor roadmaps, and market trends; evaluate where new tools, features, or automation opportunities could improve HR operations, employee experience, compliance, data quality, and scalability.
