This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Training and Enablement based in the United States.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and scaling the learning and enablement strategy across customers, partners, and internal teams within a complex healthcare technology environment. You will own how users understand, adopt, and realize value from a sophisticated data-driven platform that supports healthcare transformation at scale. The role combines strategic program ownership with hands-on leadership across onboarding, certification, and ongoing education initiatives. You will partner closely with Product, Customer Success, and executive leadership to align training with product evolution and customer success outcomes. A strong focus of the role is translating complex healthcare and value-based care concepts into accessible, impactful learning experiences. You will also build scalable learning infrastructure, including LMS strategy, content libraries, and certification programs. Accountabilities

In this role, you will own the end-to-end training and enablement strategy, ensuring measurable impact on adoption, competency, and customer outcomes:

  • Design and lead the enterprise-wide training and enablement strategy across customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Own the full onboarding experience for new customers, including role-based learning paths and adoption milestones.
  • Develop and scale certification programs to validate user competency across external and internal audiences.
  • Build and manage a scalable asynchronous learning ecosystem, including LMS strategy, content libraries, and digital learning assets.
  • Lead instructional design efforts to translate complex healthcare workflows and data systems into clear, structured learning experiences.
  • Partner with Product and Implementation teams to align training delivery with product release cycles and go-live timelines.
  • Drive readiness for new product releases by embedding training into launch planning and execution.
  • Develop internal enablement programs for Customer Success, Implementation, and operations teams to improve time-to-productivity.
  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks to track training effectiveness, engagement, certification, and impact on customer adoption.
  • Lead a small team of instructional designers or training specialists while building scalable operational processes and governance.
  • Conduct user research and workflow analysis to continuously improve training relevance and effectiveness.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to executive stakeholders across Product, Growth, and Clinical leadership teams.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced enablement leader with strong healthcare domain expertise and a proven ability to build scalable learning programs:

  • 10+ years of experience in training, enablement, or customer education roles, including significant experience in enterprise SaaS or health IT.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare technology environments such as population health, EHR, or care management platforms.
  • Deep understanding of value-based care models, CMS programs, and healthcare operational workflows.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering both internal enablement and external customer education programs at scale.
  • Strong instructional design expertise, including experience with LMS platforms and modern authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia).
  • Experience building onboarding programs, certification pathways, and role-based learning curricula.
  • Familiarity with product release cycles and enablement integration into go-to-market processes.
  • Strong operational discipline with experience defining KPIs, governance models, and scalable training processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging across clinical, technical, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring small teams.
  • Ability to translate complex healthcare and data-driven concepts into accessible, actionable learning content.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments with evolving product and customer needs.
